A whitepaper here is written to be circulated internally: it states what the requirement is, what documentation satisfies it, what changes between provinces or states, and which questions we cannot answer for your project because they depend on your authority having jurisdiction. Where a figure belongs to a specific model rather than a family, it says so and defers to the submittal sheet instead of rounding it into a headline number.
If you need the underlying model data behind one of these documents — capacities, refrigerant charge, electrical data or certificate evidence — request it directly and an engineer will send the model-level material rather than a generic file.
Read it before you specify
These are written for the stage where a drawing or a project specification is being prepared, so the requirements are known before the order rather than discovered at import.
Check what applies to you
Federal, provincial and state requirements differ, and municipal authorities add their own conditions. Each document says which part is a question for your authority having jurisdiction.
Ask for the model data
Where a number belongs to a specific model, the document points to the submittal sheet instead of generalising it. Request it for the model you are actually ordering.
