Overview
An A-coil is the indoor heat exchanger of a split system: refrigerant is metered into the coil on its way back to the outdoor unit, and the blower moves air across it and into the ductwork. This family covers cased and uncased evaporator coils in three coil sizes, matched to our side-discharge outdoor units and air handling units.
For a distributor the value is a matched pairing rather than a cross-brand guess: the same three coil sizes run across the side-discharge condensing units and the AHU range. Family-level data is still being completed, so the per-model submittal sheet remains the authority for casing dimensions, circuiting and system charge.

Selection & installation notes
- 01
Measure the existing cabinet footprint, plenum opening and return-air opening before ordering; casing dimensions and multi-position options are confirmed per model.

Order by refrigerant. R-410A, R-32 and R-454B coils are separate builds and are not interchangeable; never mix refrigerants within a system.

Confirm the coil-to-outdoor-unit match against factory match data rather than nominal tonnage — three coil sizes cover the 1.5 to 5 ton outdoor range.

On replacements, check drain-pan orientation and which side the drain leaves on; a multi-position casing must be set for the orientation installed.

For custom coils, supply the casing drawing, connection sizes and circuiting requirement; custom work is built to the approved drawing.
Common questions
Can these coils be used with a third-party condenser?
The range is matched against our own side-discharge outdoor units and AHUs, and we do not publish cross-brand match data. Send the outdoor unit model and we will confirm what the factory supports.
Which refrigerant version do I order?
Give us the refrigerant and the outdoor unit model at enquiry so the coil is built and labelled for that refrigerant. R-410A, R-32 and R-454B coils are separate configurations.
Do you build custom coils?
Yes. Custom dimensions, circuiting and casing are available for OEM and private-label programmes, produced to a drawing agreed before production.
Is the casing suitable for upflow, downflow and horizontal installation?
Multi-position options exist, but not every model covers every orientation. State the installed orientation at enquiry so the pan and casing are confirmed.
