Chillers
Chillers selected against project cooling load, with supporting components and system design.

Overview
A chiller produces chilled water that is distributed to air handlers, fan coils or process loads. ACE FORGE selects chillers against the project cooling load and supplies them together with the supporting components and system design, rather than offering a fixed catalogue range to pick from. That is how this category is normally quoted on commercial and industrial work.
A chiller is only part of the package. Selection has to account for the evaporator and condenser sides, the pumping arrangement, water treatment and filtration on the loop, and how the load varies across the day and the year. Because the range is not published as a fixed table, technical data is confirmed per model on the submittal sheet.
Where it is used
- Commercial cooling distributed to air handlers or fan coils
- Process cooling with a defined leaving-water temperature requirement
- Campus or multi-building layouts served from one central chilled-water plant
Selection & installation notes
- 01
Select on the load profile, not the peak. Block load, diversity between zones and part-load profile all affect the machine quoted, because a chiller sized on peak alone behaves differently for most of the year.
- 02
Confirm the water-side design conditions: entering and leaving water temperatures and design flow rate. These come from the project engineer, and they are what the factory quotes against.
- 03
Decide the system arrangement — buffer tank or hydraulic separation, and pumping scheme — before the quote is issued, since it changes the scope supplied alongside the chiller.
- 04
No chiller capacity, efficiency or model data is published here. Request the submittal sheet for the model being quoted and check it against the design conditions.
Common questions
Why is there no chiller selection table on this page?
Because the range is quoted against project conditions rather than published as a fixed table here. Capacity and model data are confirmed per model on the submittal sheet, so what you receive matches your project.
What does the factory need to quote a chiller?
The cooling load; entering and leaving water temperatures; design flow rate; ambient design conditions; available power supply; and whether the loop is new or reused. The load profile is also useful.
Can a chiller be supplied with the water-side components?
Supporting components and system design are part of how we supply this category. Which are needed depends on the loop — filtration, water treatment and pumping all influence it. Raise the full system scope with the factory.
